Tony is from Hacketstown and is known in both Wicklow and carlow. He will be competing in the following events:
  • 5km Mini Marathon
  • 5km Race Walk
  • 1500m Track
  • Ten pin bowling singles
  • Ten pin bowling doubles
  • Track relay
Tony was the recipient of the first liver transplant done in St. Vincent's hospital and his sporting success is testament to the value of organ donation and transplantation.

Tony is the current record holder for the 5km Race Walk in his age category at the World Transplant Games and he will be defending his title in Sweden.

Tony is a liver transplant recipient.
