Tony competed in the 5km mini marathon on a very challenging course full of hills. He ran well and came in with a very creditable 3rd place, and bronze medal, in what was a very competitive race.

Record Breaking Transplant Athletes return home from 18th World Transplant Games
The 33 members of Transplant Team Ireland enjoyed fantastic success at the 18th World Transplant Games in Sweden, securing a new world record in one event and picking up a massive haul of 39 medals, comprising 13 Gold, 14 Silver and 12 Bronze.
