Sheila is from Tipperary and she joined Transplant Team Ireland in 2010. Her first competetion was the 6th European Transplant & Dialysis Games that were hosted in Dublin. At this year's World Transplant Games she will be competing in the following events: Swimming - 50m Breast Stroke Swimming - 100m Breast Stroke Swimming - 50m Freestyle Ten Pin Bowling Singles 3km Race Walk Sheila won silver in the 100m Breast Stroke at last year's European Transplant & Dialysis Game. Sheila is a kidney transplant recipient.
