Philip is from Arklow and joined Transplant Team Ireland in 2009 and has competed in the 5 Nations Transplant Golf Tournament and last year's European Transplant & Dialysis Games in Dublin. He will be competing in the following events: Golf Singles Golf Pairs 5km Race walk Petanque Doubles Philip won silver in Golf singles at last year's European Games. He will be accompanied to the Games in Sweden by his wife. Philip is a liver transplant recipient.
