Liam Duffy is a native of Co. Mayo and he joined Transplant Team ireland in 2010 to participate in the 6th European Transplant & Dialysis Games that were held in Dublin.

Liam will be competing in the following events in Sweden:

  • Petanque Doubles
  • Ten Pin Bowling Singles

LIVES: Glan, Kilkelly, Co. Mayo
TRANSPLANT HISTORY: Lung transplant in 1999. Liam suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and was wheelchair bound for three years
FIRST GAMES ON IRISH TEAM: European Transplant & Dialysis Games, Dublin, 2010
ABOUT LIAM: He has a big interest in GAA. He has won county medals at U18 and U21, and in 2009 he took up management and coaching. He coached his local U16 team to Mayo league and championship semi-finals. His other hobbies include Gardening, Horses, and Fishing.
