The Irish squad for The World Transplant Games in Thailand will be among a real crowd of movers and shakers in the Bangkok Place Hotel.

Teams from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Sweden and the UK will stay in the same hotel in Ireland for the 16th World Transplant Games.

All of these countries, including Ireland, are showing true ambition and dedication towards the future of the Transplant Games.

Canada hosted the last World Games in 2005 and Australia will host the Games in 2009.
And Denmark, Sweden and the UK are the declared bidders for the 2011 World Games.

Meanwhile Ireland will present a bid to host the 2010 European Transplant & Dialysis Games to the European Transplant & Dialysis Sports Federation (separate to the WTGF) General Assembly while in Bangkok.
