ImageMany members of the Irish squad are taking time out from their busy schedules to visit local tailors. The quality – and value – in Bangkok is something to behold. Your loved ones will come home almost unrecognisable, such is the style they are mopping up here at bargain prices.

Limerick athlete John Loftus and his wife Trish and daughter Tara were given a recommendation by friends from home to visit Brioni in Pathumwan, Bangkok.

“It has been one of the highlights of the trip. You simply could not afford a tailored suit at home, but here you get the finest of clothes at very reasonable prices,” said John, who has promised to buy a suit of clothes for the entire Irish team if Limerick win on Sunday next.

Listen here as John and reporter Liam Horan chat to the owner of Brioni, Bob – aka Bob The Builder of Clothes.
