There's a smile back on the face of Irish manager Colin White following the weekend return of the kidnapped Irish mascot, Tadhg White.

ImageAs suspected by many at the Games, the British team turned out to be the culprits. Tadhg turned up - as if nothing had happened - at a joint meeting of the Irish, British and Australian teams on Friday night.

A slide show revealed that Tadhg had, in fact, enjoyed many of the eclectic delights on offer at Bangkok  - he had been measured up for a suit, taken in some Thai boxing, and travelled in a Tuk-Tuk.

"I am just delighted he's back. It was a traumatic time for all concerned, but Tadhg is now back where he should be," said Colin White.

Thai police, assisted by Supt Tadhg Landers from An Garda Siochana, have arrested an English woman in connection with the kidnapping.
