Elaine is from Athy and will be representing Ireland for the second time on the international stage having joined the team for the European transplant & Dialysis Games in Dublin in 2010.  Elaine will be competing in the following events:
  • Ten Pin Bowling Doubles
  • Petanque Doubles
  • Swimming 50m Breast Stroke
  • Swimming 50m Freestyle
  • Ball Throw

TRANSPLANT HISTORY: Liver Transplant 2008, Kidney Transplant 2009

FIRST GAMES ON IRISH TEAM: European Transplant & Dialysis Games, 2010
GAMES EVENTS: Swimming, and others. Formerly a competitive swimmer, won the one-mile Barrow Swim in 1975.

ABOUT ELAINE: She is currently working on a training programme with the Irish Kidney Association. She has featured on KFM Radio with presenter Clem Ryan in the build-up to the 2010 Games.
