This is what we have all been waiting for - the Games to begin, writes team manager COLIN WHITE in his manager's blog.

The whole team is really looking forward to tomorrow's opening ceremony here in Gold Coast. We have settled in well, found our bearings, and the jetlag is beginning to wear off.
Everybody is in good form and rarin' to go. The road races actually get underway tomorrow morning, in advance of the opening ceremony, and we all know Tony Gartland, as always, will wear the Irish single with distinction.
We will have some supporters out there with Tony too, despite the early start. The messages of goodwill in the guestbook are deeply appreciated by the team, so keep them coming. It should be a great week.
